What is a soul contract?

In spiritual teaching, a soul contract is an agreement made before birth: the lessons you came here to learn, the people you came to learn them with, and the kind of work or service that keeps pulling at you. I use the idea as a way of reading the themes in your life, not as a document anyone can verify. I will tell you what I pick up and connect it to what you are living now. I will not invent past-life names and dates to make a reading sound grander than it is.

A reading can look at what the connection seems to be teaching you and whether that lesson feels finished. It cannot tell you what the other person privately feels or decide for you whether to stay. How do you know a soul contract is over?

People describe it in similar ways. The pull fades rather than snapping. The same argument stops having the same hold.
