Hex Removal and Spiritual Cleansing: What's Real and What's Not
Can a psychic really remove a hex or curse? An honest look at what hex removal actually involves, the signs people notice, and what to be wary of in this corner of the spiritual world.
People search this quietly. Usually late at night, when something feels deeply wrong and they can't put a name to it.
They don't always use the word hex. Sometimes it's "bad luck that won't stop." Sometimes "feeling like something is attached to me." Sometimes just an overwhelming sense that no matter what they do, things keep falling apart. Relationships. Finances. Health. Opportunity. All of it, in ways that feel beyond coincidence.
I want to talk about this honestly. There's a lot of noise around it, and the noise causes real harm.
What a Hex Actually Is
A hex, curse, or binding is an intentional direction of negative energy toward a person. In the Romani tradition I was raised in, the existence of such things was never questioned. Neither was the importance of treating them with discernment.
Not everything that feels like a hex is one.
Life has hard seasons. Things sometimes go wrong in clusters because of circumstances or timing or the choices people made along the way, not because of any external interference. Part of what I do in a hex removal reading is work out what's actually present. I'm not going to tell someone they've been hexed if they haven't. That's not honest, and it doesn't help them.
But when something is genuinely there, when there's a real energetic interference, an attachment, or a directed negative force shaping someone's life, that's identifiable. It can be worked with.
The Signs People Describe
There's no single checklist that confirms a hex, but there are patterns I see again and again with clients who arrive with this concern.
Sudden and unexplained reversals. Things that were going well collapse abruptly. A relationship. A job. A financial situation. No clear cause.
A persistent feeling of being watched or followed. Not paranoia. A genuine sense of something attached to your energy field.
Recurring nightmares or disrupted sleep that started around a specific point in time.
Physical symptoms with no medical explanation. Exhaustion. Heaviness. The sense of moving through fog.
Conflict appearing out of nowhere in relationships that were previously stable.
A knowing that something is wrong, even when everything looks fine from the outside.
None of these on their own confirms a hex. But patterns, timing, and the energetic signature I pick up in a reading all factor into what I assess.
What Spiritual Cleansing Actually Involves
Hex removal isn't a dramatic ritual performed in one moment. It's energy work. Intentional, focused, and layered.
In my practice, I start with a reading to assess what's there. I want to understand the nature of what I'm working with before I work on it. Is this a directed hex from a specific source? Residual negative energy that's accumulated over time? An attachment that followed someone home from a particular place or person? Each calls for a different approach.
From there, the cleansing itself involves clearing the energetic interference, sealing the field so it can't come back in, and where appropriate, sending the energy back toward its source. I also build in protective measures so you aren't left vulnerable afterward.
There's no one-size-fits-all version of this. The work is specific to the individual and to what's actually present.
What to Be Wary Of
I want to say something directly because this space attracts predatory practice.
Be very careful with any reader who:
Tells you immediately, before any real assessment, that you've been cursed.
Quotes escalating prices to "fully remove" the hex across multiple sessions.
Creates fear and urgency to keep you coming back.
Claims they alone can fix it and no one else can help you.
Genuine energy work doesn't run on fear. It doesn't require you to hand over escalating sums of money to fix something that keeps mysteriously getting worse. If a reading leaves you more frightened than when you arrived, something is wrong.
My approach is to tell you what's there, and if nothing significant is, to tell you that too. Clarity matters more than a dramatic story.
When to Seek a Hex Removal Reading
If you've been carrying a persistent sense that something is energetically off, that your life has a weight to it that won't shift no matter what you do, a reading is a reasonable place to start.
You don't have to be certain. You don't have to have a name for what you're feeling. You just have to be willing to look at it honestly.
I'll do the same.
A hex removal reading with me includes a full assessment of what's actually present, the cleansing itself, and guidance on protection going forward. If nothing significant is found, I'll tell you, and we can look at what else might be contributing to the patterns you've been experiencing.
You deserve clarity. Not fear. Not escalating bills. Just honest work, done with care.
