A psychic medium attempts to connect with people who have died. That is the purpose of mediumship, but an attempt is not a guarantee of contact, and a reading is not proof of life after death. I approach it as spiritual work: impressions that I interpret and share, with limits stated plainly.

How do mediums connect with the dead?

I use the word connection for impressions understood within my spiritual practice. These might be an image, an emotional quality, a phrase, or a symbol. They do not necessarily arrive as a complete conversation, and interpretation is part of the process.

Something can feel personally meaningful without establishing where it came from. A familiar description may resonate with you, but that does not turn it into independently verified evidence. I make that distinction because a reader's confidence and your understandable hope should not be mistaken for certainty.

Can you choose which loved one to contact?

You can name the person you hope to hear from. My reading is an attempt focused on that person, not a promise that they will answer a particular question or supply an exact detail. It may be symbolic, limited, or unclear.

If a clear connection does not come, I will say so. Please do not read that as evidence that your loved one has rejected you, that you were not close enough, or that you have done something wrong. How do you prepare for a written mediumship reading?

First, decide what you want from the experience. Perhaps you want to acknowledge something left unsaid, or simply spend time reflecting on someone you miss. Write that in a sentence. You do not need to turn it into an elaborate request.

Do not send financial records, identity documents, or passwords. Check the delivery address and leave yourself time to read the response privately, without having to react immediately.

How long after a death should you wait?

I do not set a spiritual deadline or promise that waiting a particular number of months will produce a stronger reading. The practical question is whether you feel able to receive an uncertain response. You can choose to wait, book, or never have a reading at all.

If you need one exact answer to feel safe or make an important decision, a mediumship reading is not a reliable way to obtain it. Nor is it a replacement for bereavement support. Paying for contact should never feel like a duty to the person who died.

How should you judge what comes back?

Read the account once, then return to it if you want to. Separate specific details from broad statements and interpretation. Notice what fits, but also what does not. You do not have to stretch a description until it matches your memories.
