The Seven of Pentacles as an Outcome: Patience Pays

Written by Chaya the Medium.

The Seven of Pentacles as an outcome says the harvest takes time. Here is what it means.

The Seven of Pentacles as an outcome is patience. The situation is heading toward results that are growing, but not ready yet.

What the Seven of Pentacles means as an outcome upright

Tina Gong's the Seven of Pentacles guide at Labyrinthos associates the upright card with long-term view, sustainable results, perseverance and investment. In the outcome position I read those meanings as the likely direction of the situation if things carry on as they are now. An outcome card is not a fixed sentence. It shows where the current road leads, and roads can be changed. The Minor Arcana overview at Biddy Tarot is a useful second reference.

Upright, the Seven of Pentacles shows the outcome as steady growth.

The Seven of Pentacles reversed as an outcome

Reversed, the Seven of Pentacles as an outcome warns of impatience.

The Seven of Pentacles as a love outcome

As a love outcome, the Seven of Pentacles points to a relationship that needs time.

The Seven of Pentacles as an outcome for work and money

For work and money, the Seven of Pentacles as an outcome favours long-term investment. Take qualified financial advice on any investment. A card can describe a direction; for decisions with legal, medical or financial weight, take advice from someone qualified as well.

What helps this outcome along

Patience helps this outcome.

For comparison, the Knight of Pentacles as an outcome and the Eight of Pentacles as an outcome point somewhere different. The the Seven of Pentacles card meaning page covers the card in full, and the Seven of Pentacles as advice, the Seven of Pentacles as feelings and the Seven of Pentacles as a yes or no cover the other questions people most often ask of it.
