The Ace of Wands as an Outcome: A Spark Ignites

Written by Chaya the Medium.

The Ace of Wands as an outcome is a spark of new energy. Here is what it means in love, at work and reversed.

The Ace of Wands as an outcome is a spark. The situation is heading toward a new beginning full of energy and inspiration.

What the Ace of Wands means as an outcome upright

Tina Gong's the Ace of Wands guide at Labyrinthos associates the upright card with inspiration, new opportunities, growth and potential. In the outcome position I read those meanings as the likely direction of the situation if things carry on as they are now. An outcome card is not a fixed sentence. It shows where the current road leads, and roads can be changed. The Minor Arcana overview at Biddy Tarot is a useful second reference.

Upright, the Ace of Wands shows the outcome igniting. A project, passion or opportunity starts with enthusiasm. It is the moment to act on the idea.

The Ace of Wands reversed as an outcome

Reversed, the Ace of Wands as an outcome points to delays or a lack of motivation. The spark is there but not yet lit.

The Ace of Wands as a love outcome

As a love outcome, the Ace of Wands favours passion and a new attraction with real heat.

The Ace of Wands as an outcome for work and money

For work and money, the Ace of Wands as an outcome favours new ventures and creative projects. A card can describe a direction; for decisions with legal, medical or financial weight, take advice from someone qualified as well.

What helps this outcome along

Action helps this outcome. Take the first step while the energy is high.

For comparison, the Ace of Cups as an outcome and the Two of Wands as an outcome point somewhere different. The the Ace of Wands card meaning page covers the card in full, and the Ace of Wands as advice, the Ace of Wands as feelings and the Ace of Wands as a yes or no cover the other questions people most often ask of it.
