The Ten of Wands as an Outcome: Carrying Too Much

Written by Chaya the Medium.

The Ten of Wands as an outcome is a heavy load near the end. Here is what it says and how to lighten it.

The Ten of Wands as an outcome is burden. The situation is heading toward a heavy load of responsibility, close to the finish.

What the Ten of Wands means as an outcome upright

Tina Gong's the Ten of Wands guide at Labyrinthos associates the upright card with burden, extra responsibility, hard work and completion. In the outcome position I read those meanings as the likely direction of the situation if things carry on as they are now. An outcome card is not a fixed sentence. It shows where the current road leads, and roads can be changed. The Minor Arcana overview at Biddy Tarot is a useful second reference.

Upright, the Ten of Wands shows the outcome reached, but at a cost. You get there carrying too much.

The Ten of Wands reversed as an outcome

Reversed, the Ten of Wands as an outcome points to putting the load down. You delegate or let go.

The Ten of Wands as a love outcome

As a love outcome, the Ten of Wands warns of one person carrying the relationship.

The Ten of Wands as an outcome for work and money

For work and money, the Ten of Wands as an outcome warns of overwork. Share the load. A card can describe a direction; for decisions with legal, medical or financial weight, take advice from someone qualified as well.

What helps this outcome along

Delegation helps this outcome.

For comparison, the Nine of Wands as an outcome and the Four of Wands as an outcome point somewhere different. The the Ten of Wands card meaning page covers the card in full, and the Ten of Wands as advice, the Ten of Wands as feelings and the Ten of Wands as a yes or no cover the other questions people most often ask of it.
