The Four of Wands as an Outcome: Celebration and Home

Written by Chaya the Medium.

The Four of Wands as an outcome is a happy milestone. Here is what it says about where things are heading.

The Four of Wands as an outcome is celebration. The situation is heading toward a milestone, a homecoming or a joyful event.

What the Four of Wands means as an outcome upright

Tina Gong's the Four of Wands guide at Labyrinthos associates the upright card with celebration, joy, harmony, relaxation and homecoming. In the outcome position I read those meanings as the likely direction of the situation if things carry on as they are now. An outcome card is not a fixed sentence. It shows where the current road leads, and roads can be changed. The Minor Arcana overview at Biddy Tarot is a useful second reference.

Upright, the Four of Wands shows the outcome as stability and joy. Weddings, moves, reunions and parties are all traditional associations.

The Four of Wands reversed as an outcome

Reversed, the Four of Wands as an outcome points to tension at home or a celebration delayed.

The Four of Wands as a love outcome

As a love outcome, the Four of Wands favours commitment, moving in together or a wedding.

The Four of Wands as an outcome for work and money

For work and money, the Four of Wands as an outcome favours completed projects and a happy team. A card can describe a direction; for decisions with legal, medical or financial weight, take advice from someone qualified as well.

What helps this outcome along

Gathering helps this outcome. Celebrate what you have built.

For comparison, the Three of Cups as an outcome and the Ten of Cups as an outcome point somewhere different. The the Four of Wands card meaning page covers the card in full, and the Four of Wands as advice, the Four of Wands as feelings and the Four of Wands as a yes or no cover the other questions people most often ask of it.
