The High Priestess as an Outcome: What Is Hidden Comes Clear

Written by Chaya the Medium.

The High Priestess as an outcome is quiet but revealing. Here is what she says about where things are heading, upright and reversed.

The High Priestess as an outcome rarely brings a loud result. She points to a situation that resolves through understanding: something hidden becomes known, and your intuition turns out to have been right all along.

What the High Priestess means as an outcome upright

Tina Gong's the High Priestess guide at Labyrinthos associates the upright card with intuition, sacred knowledge, the subconscious mind and the divine feminine. In the outcome position I read those meanings as the likely direction of the situation if things carry on as they are now. An outcome card is not a fixed sentence. It shows where the current road leads, and roads can be changed. The Major Arcana overview at Biddy Tarot is a useful second reference.

Upright, the outcome is inner clarity. You may not get a public answer straight away, but you will know. Information that has been kept back tends to surface in its own time. The result favours patience and listening over pushing.

The High Priestess reversed as an outcome

Reversed, the High Priestess as an outcome warns of secrets kept too long or intuition ignored. If you have been overriding your gut, the outcome may be a surprise you half expected. Pay attention to what you already sense.

The High Priestess as a love outcome

As a love outcome, the High Priestess points to a connection with depth that moves slowly. Feelings may stay unspoken for a while. If you are waiting for a declaration, she suggests the truth is there but not yet said aloud.

The High Priestess as an outcome for work and money

For work and money, the High Priestess as an outcome favours research, discretion and waiting for the full picture. It is a poor card for rushing a deal and a good card for learning what others have missed. A card can describe a direction; for decisions with legal, medical or financial weight, take advice from someone qualified as well.

What helps this outcome along

Stillness helps this outcome. Give yourself quiet time, write down what you sense, and let information arrive rather than chasing it.

For comparison, the Moon as an outcome and the Magician as an outcome point somewhere different. The the High Priestess card meaning page covers the card in full, and the High Priestess as advice, the High Priestess as feelings and the High Priestess as a yes or no cover the other questions people most often ask of it.
