The Nine of Pentacles as an Outcome: Independence and Comfort

Written by Chaya the Medium.

The Nine of Pentacles as an outcome is self-made comfort. Here is what it means.

The Nine of Pentacles as an outcome is independence. The situation is heading toward comfort and self-sufficiency.

What the Nine of Pentacles means as an outcome upright

Tina Gong's the Nine of Pentacles guide at Labyrinthos associates the upright card with abundance, luxury, self-sufficiency and financial independence. In the outcome position I read those meanings as the likely direction of the situation if things carry on as they are now. An outcome card is not a fixed sentence. It shows where the current road leads, and roads can be changed. The Minor Arcana overview at Biddy Tarot is a useful second reference.

Upright, the Nine of Pentacles shows the outcome as success you enjoy.

The Nine of Pentacles reversed as an outcome

Reversed, the Nine of Pentacles as an outcome warns of overworking.

The Nine of Pentacles as a love outcome

As a love outcome, the Nine of Pentacles favours a relationship where you keep your independence.

The Nine of Pentacles as an outcome for work and money

For work and money, the Nine of Pentacles as an outcome favours financial independence. A card can describe a direction; for decisions with legal, medical or financial weight, take advice from someone qualified as well.

What helps this outcome along

Self-respect helps this outcome.

For comparison, the Nine of Cups as an outcome and the Ten of Pentacles as an outcome point somewhere different. The the Nine of Pentacles card meaning page covers the card in full, and the Nine of Pentacles as advice, the Nine of Pentacles as feelings and the Nine of Pentacles as a yes or no cover the other questions people most often ask of it.
