The Six of Wands as an Outcome: Victory and Recognition

Written by Chaya the Medium.

The Six of Wands as an outcome is a public win. Here is what it says about where things are heading.

The Six of Wands as an outcome is victory. The situation is heading toward success that others can see.

What the Six of Wands means as an outcome upright

Tina Gong's the Six of Wands guide at Labyrinthos associates the upright card with success, public recognition, progress and self-confidence. In the outcome position I read those meanings as the likely direction of the situation if things carry on as they are now. An outcome card is not a fixed sentence. It shows where the current road leads, and roads can be changed. The Minor Arcana overview at Biddy Tarot is a useful second reference.

Upright, the Six of Wands shows the outcome as a win you are celebrated for. Effort is recognised and confidence grows.

The Six of Wands reversed as an outcome

Reversed, the Six of Wands as an outcome warns of a fall from grace or a lack of recognition. Keep your own sense of worth.

The Six of Wands as a love outcome

As a love outcome, the Six of Wands favours a relationship you are proud of.

The Six of Wands as an outcome for work and money

For work and money, the Six of Wands as an outcome is strong for promotions and awards. A card can describe a direction; for decisions with legal, medical or financial weight, take advice from someone qualified as well.

What helps this outcome along

Confidence helps this outcome. Let people see your work.

For comparison, the Chariot as an outcome and the Five of Wands as an outcome point somewhere different. The the Six of Wands card meaning page covers the card in full, and the Six of Wands as advice, the Six of Wands as feelings and the Six of Wands as a yes or no cover the other questions people most often ask of it.
