The Knight of Wands as an Outcome: Fast Action

Written by Chaya the Medium.

The Knight of Wands as an outcome moves quickly. Here is what it says about where things are heading, upright and reversed.

The Knight of Wands as an outcome is speed. The situation is heading toward bold action and quick change, sometimes faster than you expect.

What the Knight of Wands means as an outcome upright

Tina Gong's the Knight of Wands guide at Labyrinthos associates the upright card with energy, passion, inspired action, adventure and impulsiveness. In the outcome position I read those meanings as the likely direction of the situation if things carry on as they are now. An outcome card is not a fixed sentence. It shows where the current road leads, and roads can be changed. The Minor Arcana overview at Biddy Tarot is a useful second reference.

Upright, the Knight of Wands shows the outcome driven by passion and momentum. Plans get going, trips happen and you move. It is exciting and a little unpredictable.

The Knight of Wands reversed as an outcome

Reversed, the Knight of Wands as an outcome warns of haste, recklessness or a start that fizzles. Energy without direction leads nowhere. Slow down enough to steer.

The Knight of Wands as a love outcome

As a love outcome, the Knight of Wands favours passion and adventure. It can be a whirlwind; whether it stays depends on what follows the first rush.

The Knight of Wands as an outcome for work and money

For work and money, the Knight of Wands as an outcome favours quick moves, travel for work and launching ideas, with care about overcommitting. A card can describe a direction; for decisions with legal, medical or financial weight, take advice from someone qualified as well.

What helps this outcome along

Action helps this outcome, aimed at a clear target.

For comparison, the Knight of Cups as an outcome and the Chariot as an outcome point somewhere different. The the Knight of Wands card meaning page covers the card in full, and the Knight of Wands as advice, the Knight of Wands as feelings and the Knight of Wands as a yes or no cover the other questions people most often ask of it.
